[RL with Aoko]

After getting a ride from Elphaba to Japan, Giselle found her way to Aoko's home. She carried with her a paper bag that held three boxes filled with cupcakes she and Morgan had made together the previous night. One for Aoko, one for Heiji and one for Hakuba. She reached the door and gave a polite knock.

Aoko's cat, clover, jumped from the couch and ran to the door, mewling all the way. Aoko couldn't understand why she always acted like a dog when someone was on the door. The brunette girl took the cat from the floor carefuly and opened the door.

"Giselle-chan." She smiled. "Welcome."

"Hello Aoko!" Giselle beamed. "How are you feeling?" she asked. Aoko looked alright to her, but she wanted to make sure. She had gone through a very traumatizing event after all.

"I'm....doing fine,thanks." Aoko lied. She was furious. She was hurt. And he was gone, but instead of showing it she simply shrugged and told to herself that some things were more important. "But please come in, Giselle." Aoko pointed to the living room and the cat mewled on her arms. "Oh, That's Clover."

Giselle noticed a bit of hesitation on Aoko's part, but decided not to bring it up right away. It was better she give Aoko and enjoyable visit. She stepped inside and made sure the door closed behind her.

"How sweet!" she smiled, petting Clover's head gently. She couldn't understand animals anymore, but she still enjoyed seeing them and Clover was certainly cute.

Clover mewled more and caressed Giselle's hand with her snout, purring.

"Do you want to hold her? I need to go to the kitchen for a moment to see if the other cookies are ready."

"I'd love to," Giselle nodded and placed the bag she was carrying on the floor. She opened up her arms, ready to take Clover.

"You don't need any help in the kitchen do you?"

"No, I'm nearly done, the cookies for Robert and Morgan are on the oven, but yours are already coocked." Clover practically jumped to Giselle arms when she had the occasion.

"Make yourself at home, please. I will be back in a few minutes." Aoko smiled and dissapeared on the kitchen.

"Alright. Please call if you need me for anything," she said as she held Clover carefully in her arms.

She spotted a couch nearby and settled down on to it where she continued to pet Clover, who mewed happily in response.

After a few minutes, Aoko returned to the living room, a tray on her hands. Over the tray there was a bowl full of cookies and two glasses of juice. "I wasn't sure about what do you wanted, i should had asked you. I imagined that coffee was a bit.." too mcuh for someone like you, she thought, but she went for"...a bit too biter. Do you like orange juice?"

"No, that's perfect," Giselle assured her and set Clover down on the couch next to her.

"Thank you for making cookies for Morgan and Robert. I'm sure they'll love them."

"Welcome, it was my pleasure." Aoko sat next to her and her expression fell a little, chocolate cookies were Kaito's favourites too. "Giselle can I ask you something? How did you know that Robert was the person for you?"

Giselle tilted her head to the side a bit as she took a bite of one of the cookies. Aoko seemed rather sad all of a sudden. That certainly wouldn't do.

"Well...I suppose I didn't know at first. I had always thought that the moment I met my True Love I would know. I thought that about Edward. But after I spent time with Robert and saw him so close with Nancy and knew that I would have to part from him I felt terrible! I felt like I'd never really be able to smile again. Not a real smile. I suppose it was at the ball when I thought I was leaving him for good. That's when I knew..."

She paused for a moment and looked right at Aoko. "Why do you ask? Is something wrong with you and Kaito?"

The brunnete girl listened her carefully. "So..you knew that you loved him because you felt empty when he was not with you?" She looked to her hands.

"More or less..he's fine but Kaito and I are not longer together."

"Yes, I suppose that is the best way to put it."

The cookie in Giselle's hand came crashing to the floor as she looked at Aoko in shock.

"What!?" she gasped. "Why!?"

She fidgeted nervously for a moment before daring to look up at her. “It's complicated...we...it just don't worked."

"But that can't be true!" Giselle protested. "Something must have happened. Is it because of the kidnapping?"

"More or less.." Aoko was at a loss, she didn't knew how to explain it without giving away Kaito's secret. "But sometimes relationships just doesn't work, it's no one fault."

"But it should work out. You love Kaito right?" she asked.

THe girl just nodded. "But even if I love him..sometimes..love it's not enough Giselle."

"It most certainly is enough!" Giselle said sternly. "Love is the most important thing in the world. You love Kaito, and I know he loves you."

She stopped, thinking for a moment. "Who was it that broke off the relationship?"

"Kaito said that he couldn't do this anymore, that I would find someone better.." Aoko paused. "I told him that I will wait for him, but he walked away."

"Oh dear..."

Giselle was quiet, thinking. She certainly wanted to have a talk with Kaito now. She had a feel she knew why he did what he had done, but it was really no excuse.

"Aoko, I think Kaito...he's trying to keep you safe. But I think it's very unnecessary to break up with you. I'm certainly you are still extremely important to him."

"That's the problem..I'm that he cares for me. he don't want me to get hurt, that's why he..." The girl frowned suddenly. She knew that Kaito was doing that because of the black ops, it just make it even more frustrating.

"He's such and idiot!" She yelled, sounding like her dad on a bad day.

Giselle reached out and took Aoko's hand, giving her a sympathetic look.

"He wasn't thinking straight. I'm sure that's all it is. He was so worried for you that this was the only solution he could come up with. I'm certain when he has had the time to calm down and think things over he will reconsider his choice."

Aoko wiped a tear from her eye, she wasn't sure when she started crying. "I hope you're right, Giselle-chan. I'm sorry, that meeting was not supposed to be like this."

Giselle put one hand into a pocket of her dress and pulled out a clean handkerchief and handed it to Aoko.

"It's quite alright," she assured her. "That's what friends are for right?"

Aoko took the handkerchief with a grateful smile. "You're very kind Giselle..."

Clover was smelling the bowl of cookies and moving a paw near it when Aoko noticed her. "Oi, oi, that's not healthy for kittens..I will give you some milk."

"I only wish that I was of some help," Giselle replied.
